Since we started Devigne Wines 5½ years ago, based on our love of rosé wines and our desire to see them better accepted, attitudes have changed enormously. Now you see them everywhere from the best off-licences to corner shops
People now know that most rosés aren’t sweet, aren’t made by mixing red and white wine, can accompany most foods (great with Chinese or Thai) and will keep more than 6 months. (In fact, well-made rosé keeps happily for 2/3 years and indeed, improves from keeping).

Our range of Jura wines contiues to be popular, particularly those made from the Jura’s famous Savagnin variety. There is the famous Vin Jauneor Savagnin itself, which starts off exactly the same way as Vin Jaune but is only allowed to oxidise for 3 years. If you are unsure about going the whole hog with Vin Jaune why not start with this or a blend of Savagnin and crisp Chardonnay .
We continue to stock the famous Vin de Paille, plus our personal favourite white, Naturé, a Chardonnay and 4 reds ( 2 Trousseaus, a Poulsard and a Pinot Noir) plus Macvin (like Pineau des Charentes), a Crémant Rosé and Fine du Jura (a Marc brandy).

Likewise, we still carry our range of quality red wines from the Languedoc (St Chinian, Faugères & Pic St Loup) and our popular Gaillacs, which have developed quite a fan club. We are hoping to add to these in the next few months by bringing back the excellent Perlé and Rosé, and adding new vintages of Gaillac Rouge plus Gaillac Blanc Sec and Gaillac Blanc Doux,

Not forgetting our Méthode Traditionnelle wines (made like Champagne but not in Champagne). We still carry an extensive range and would challenge anyone to find Champagne of equal value and quality.
